Before choosing teaching strategies, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) takes time to understand your child’s current skills and support needs. Observations and caregiver conversations help establish a starting point for treatment.
The BCBA develops measurable goals and supervises therapy. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide direct sessions under that supervision, recording information that helps the clinician evaluate how your child responds.
Progress reviews bring those observations together with your feedback. If a task remains difficult or a strategy isn’t working well within your routine, the team can reassess the approach. Recommendations should respond to your child’s changing needs.
