Good care starts with getting to know your child. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses current skills, observes relevant routines, and listens to your concerns. Your child’s interests and communication style also help inform the plan.
The BCBA develops treatment goals and oversees care. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide direct sessions under supervision and collect information that helps the team understand how learning is progressing.
Your observations add context to those records. A skill may appear during therapy but still be difficult at another time of day. Discussing those differences helps the team adjust teaching and support. Progress looks different for each child, and the plan should reflect that.
